runtime error code 1000 not reached?

Created: 05/23/06 07:31 PM   Updated: 06/13/07 09:14 AM
Component/s: Core Language
Security Level: Public (All JIRA Users )

Reproducibility: Once
Found in Version: Flash 9.0 - Deferred Bugs - AVMPLUS_1_0_0_d607
Affected OS(s): All OS Platforms - All
Steps to Reproduce:
Runtime error code 1000 (The system is out of memory.) states it occurs when Flash Player runs out of memory to compile code.

However, this could not be reproduced.

How do we invoke code compilation during runtime?
How small does the system memory have to be to for the error to occur?

[tlui 5/23/06] Entered Bug.
[ggrossma 5/24/06] It is tricky to reproduce. Right now it is pretty much only thrown by the JIT when it runs out of code buffer memory. But it's not obvious how to get into that situation deliberately.
[cpeyer 5/25/06] not sure what to do with this - assign to qa/dev to create testcase? defer?
[dansmith 5/26/06] Marking for deferal.
